Collecting Chevrolets

Stan's Collection
Today while discussing last week's assignment with my student Judy, I noticed that she put a frame around a Diptic image. I told her that I hadn't seen it done before and how clever idea it was. So in honor of the teacher learning from the student I am posting a framed Diptic image of my friend's Stan Chevy tonight.
Kinda went crazy with the app blending tonight - drinking lots of coffee!

Hipstamatic camera App - see link below
Diptic
VintageScene - for inner frame
Filterstorm for blending, contrast and saturation - and black and white blend
Noir to brighten the Headlight
TiltShiftGen to soften the area around the headlight - blended in Filterstorm
PhotoStudio to expand the frame
Grungetastic for the outer frame

Urban Portland

Walking through Downtown Portland

Yesterday afternoon, I took one last walk through  downtown Portland before heading home. Throughout the walk, what impressed me time and time again was the amount of bicyclists riding through the streets and along the bike paths. One group in particular had met up and the park during lunch for a ride. As they took off I wished I had my bike and could have partaken in the fun. I can't wait for summer in Cle Elum when I can get my bike out again!

I just loved this iconic theatre sign and chose to give it a rural feel using Artista Haiku.

These images were simply processed using the TiltShiftGen app. This app is similar to the effect of the LensBaby, much easier to use and less expensive! Give it a try!
