Inspired by Dan Burkholder

Flute parade in Nepal
I was honored to meet Dan Burkholder this evening at the Lake Oswego Art Festival. I have admired his work for a long time especially with the iPhone. His work is an inspiration, especially his dedication to his printing process. Seeing his printed images vs the ones I have enjoyed on the computer screen has once again made me realize how much of an art form printing is.

Tonight's image was processed with his presentation in mind. I worked with a combination of a black and white image, a gold toned one and the color version.
