Happy Easter

Straight shot...well kinda

Happy Easter Everyone! I made sure that I posted this on time last night before I fell asleep to keep my daily blogging promise to myself but I barely made it. (I did 9 hours worth of spring yard clean up yesterday and I was totally spent.) What was worse is that when I blog from my iPhone or iPad the image is too small and there is no description, so I am editing the post this morning. Please forgive me for those of you who have faithfully viewed this post already (hopefully you will come back to it again!).
This image was shot last week in Skagit Valley at the RoozenGaarde Gardens. They are famous for their large variety of tulips and mail order around the world. Many displays of varying colors and kinds. The only reason I was able to capture this without people was because I went late in the afternoon and during the midweek. Also I was patient to get the lower half. Worked great to capture in a stitch, when people were in one area I shot in another. Note that you must overlap more than 30% when stitching a Hipsta with a thick border. I also capture one dead center for good measure!
